Kunsi Ashramet ligger på ca 1500 m.ö.h. Det är betydligt varmare året om jämfört med Gajoli ahsramet. Skogen runt om består av både lövträd och tallträd (deodar). Utsikten mot höga Himalaya toppberg och Uttarkashi dalen med Ganga som flyter där är underbara (se fotona).
Visserligen bryts elektriciteten ganska ofta här men de fixar det mycket snabbt och det finns varmt vatten från solfångare. Trettio Purushor bor här.

Maharishi ashram at Kunsi is located at about 1500 m. altitude. It is much warmer all year round compared to Gajoli ashram. The forest around it consists of both deciduous and pine trees (deodar). The views of the high Himalayan peak mountains and the Uttarkashi valley with Ganges floating there are wonderful.
Although electricity is braking quite often here, but they fix it very quickly and there is warm water from solar collectors. Thirty Purushas are living here.
Gajoli ashramets omgivningar.
Gajoli Ashramet ligger på ca 2300 m.ö.h. (luften är tunnare, men efter ett par veckor märker man det inte längre), långt borta från närmaste byn Gajoli med ca 300 inv. (1/2 timme till fots) och ca 1 timme till fots från början av en liten bergsväg (1350 m.ö.h.) utför Asiganga floden. Den lilla bergsvägen leder till staden Uttarkashi (1160 m.ö.h.) vilket tar ca 40 min. med bil. Femtio Purushor bor där.

Maharishi ashram at Gajoli is located at about 2300 m. altitude. The air there is thinner, but after a couple of weeks you can no longer notice it. It’s far away from the nearest village of Gajoli with about 300 inhabitants, (1/2 hour on foot) and about 1 hour on foot from the beginning of a small mountain road (1350 m. altitude) the Asiganga River. The small mountain road leads to the town of Uttarkashi (1160 m.altitude) which takes about 40 minutes by car. There are about 50 Purushas living there.
